I am glad to hear that a major airline company is trying to make our environment cleaner by looking for alternative fuels. Research is the only way to find new energy sources and this can cost alot of money.

Pozner means that conservatives attack liberals because they do not believe in the same principles. In her essay, she says, because O’Donnell trys to be controversial and entertaining, many critics will not listen to her. I think both sides of the political spectrum attack eachother and Rosie gets what she deserves for making people angry.

The author of the “Virginia Tech and Our Impoverished Language For Evil” is confused about the way the media and the public called Seung Hui Cho a shooter and not a murder or killer. He seems disgusted that Cho is only labeled as a shooter when he clearly murdered innocent people. The author aims this essay at those who think the killer was a victim of his own mind and those who also questioned why the killer was called a shooter. The reader learns that the author does not sympathize with a madman that goes on killing sprees without reguard for human life.
The author may have known a victim and has no compassion for the gunman. Even if Cho may have had mental health problems, the author believes that he should be held completely accountable for his actions. Readers of this essay may disagree with the author because they know someone with mental health problems and can sympathize with Cho. Pressures from college and life in general had a factor in Cho’s reckless decsions.
This essay was written because after murdering too many people, Cho was labeled only as a shooter. Excuses about his health were made for countless killings. The author does not believe that there is a legitimate explantion for ruining countless lives. It is our obligation to call Cho what he is, evil.
